One of the biggest wastes of time for me is shopping for an item of clothing. Since my son graduates next week, I decided that I wanted to wear something new to the graduation. My plan was to buy a summer dress or a skirt and top. I went to a major department store and looked around for hours to find something. Besides finding something nice but not too dressy or casual and something that wasn’t that expensive was the challenge.
I finally found a dress that I liked. Once I decided on the dress, I found some jewelry that went with the dress. After my purchase I drove to the sport store and bought a running outfit. I finally got home after 3 ½ hours of shopping. I was exhausted from all the shopping. It is much easier for me to order clothes from the internet and have them shipped to my house and return something if I don’t like it.
Now that I am home, the holiday weekend has begun. I have a full weekend of activities planned. I start tomorrow with my group run and then we are cleaning the house. This is sort of a late spring cleaning for us. I am motivated to get all my work done tomorrow so I can enjoy the Hawks game at night as they begin their quest for the Cup.
