This morning started with my group run. I was in a fog driving to the beach. Literally, the fog was so thick that you could not see much of the road ahead. The run today was really eerie with all the fog. I felt more comfortable running with the same people from last week. Our run was 4 miles again today. Once we got back to the starting point, we had the option to run another 2 miles which I did. As the runners who opted to do the extra credit were done, everyone started hugging each other. It was a kumbaya moment. I am really starting to like my running group. I remember the site coordinator saying that he has made some good friends as a result of running with a group. I can see how that can happen.
After the run, I had to go to an oral surgeon for a consultation. After peering in my mouth, he said that my wisdom teeth were not impacted which would make it an easy procedure. In June I will have 4 of my teeth pulled. There is no fun in that. I am going to do it after one of my Saturday runs so I have the weekend to recover.
Today is also my son’s prom. The fog lifted around noon and the sun came out making it a great day weather-wise for taking pictures outside of my son.
After running some other errands today, I have not gotten anything done in the house. Where does the day go? At least my son put the bell and bag on my bike so I will be ready for my ride tomorrow morning.
